Institutional Mandate
The Adiong Memorial Polytechnic State College was created by virtue of Republic Act No. 7935 (An Act converting the Adiong Memorial National High School in the Municipality of Ditsaan Ramain, Province of Lanao del Sur, into a Polytechnic College) in 1995 through the initiative of the late Governor Mamintal M. Adiong Sr., during his term as Representative to the Congress for Lanao del Sur. It was then amended into Republic Act No. 8651 and Republic Act 11756 on July 26, 2022, renaming Adiong Memorial Polytechnic State College into Adiong Memorial State College (AMSC).
Under the said acts, the State College shall primarily provide higher professional, technical, and special instructions and shall also offer short-term technical and vocational non-degree courses within its area of specialization.
Specifically, the State College offers its mandatory courses on Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries and programs in Teachers Education such as Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Social Studies and Bachelor of Elementary Education Major in General Education and among others Business Administration, Information Technology, Senior High School, and Junior High School.
Aside from providing effective leadership and quality education to all deserving, aspiring and competent learners, the AMSC also caters free tuition in some of their selected degree offerings and free dormitory accommodation to all female students.
Vision
The Adiong Memorial State College aims to become a center for transformation education in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
